OUR ENVIRONMENT & PEOPLE
To ensure the health and safety of our people, within both our plant sites and along our supply chains, we have structured our EHS department to actively engage employees, contractors and independent vendors in ensuring that our policies are demonstrably implemented through a well-resourced and effectively monitored plan of action. We have invested time and resources to set up a system of review and reform for our occupational health and safety protocols, which significantly exceed regulatory and legal requirements. Our multimedia EHS awareness and training program covers all relevant aspects of EHS and involves every stakeholder group, led by specialist teams on four key action areas:
- Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) management systems establish and maintain a working environment free of health risks
- Environmental Management systems (EMS) minimize waste, optimize the use of energy and materials, and ensure eco-friendly waste processing
- Food Safety Management (FSM) systems oversee HACCP-based production and transmission controls for food packaging
- Fire Safety systems (FSS), one of our top priorities, conduct and oversee meticulous prevention and safety drills and interactive trainings at all levels.
